April 19, 2023 - Stored in a cold cellar since release. Wonderful cork! Fill just under cork. Bouquet black fruits. Opaque almost black. Good depth sufficient length- just. Black fruits intense flavour. Surprisingly young. Old advice was to drink Bourgeois cru before seventh anniversary but knowledge, technology and global warming has changed this. Needs plenty of air. Seems to have decades of life ahead. Hard to judge development but probably worth a punt if you have time in hand.

December 23, 2022 - Much cleaner and more expressive than my last bottle. Fantastic bdx nose with black fruits and cedar nose with fine mostly integrated tannins. Simple metallic finish keeps this from the next level. Mature, probably at peak.

  • CarpeDiem! Likes this wine: 90 points

October 31, 2022 - Black berries, toast, roast notes. Medium bodied, with nice fresh fruit, liquorice, cedar, coffee, chocolate and menthol. Enjoy now.

  • rustyRudy Likes this wine: 88 points

September 25, 2022 - Red brick in color, earth, forest floor, ripe ferns, has a cherry, graphite, maple, mushroom and sweet finish with grilled herbs

  • CarpeDiem! Likes this wine: 91 points

August 4, 2022 - Very typical Bordeaux nose, of black currant, violet and roast notes. Medium bodied, expressive on the palate, with cracking fresh fruit, liquorice, cedar, coffee, chocolate and menthol. Much improved against the last bottle, delivering true drinking pleasure. Consider drinking up now.
