August 11, 2019 - Atlanta no-name Wine Tasting Group; 8/10/2019-8/11/2019 (BB House): Wine #8 in Blind Tasting - Domestic non-Napa Cab/Bordeaux blends. Tasted in pairs and then revealed

Dark purple color. Plum, burnt sugar, blackberry jam and alcohol on nose. Palate was more mellow but fruit primary. Full body, okay structure and long finish. Given flavor profile, I doubt this would age much longer. Would not purchase, but a well made, huge, wine. 90+/- One of my least favorite wines in the tasting. Guessed a Paso Robles Cab given heat on nose.

December 28, 2018 - This is a great bottle of wine that can be bought for an inexpensive price right now.

November 10, 2016 - Needs a lot more time. Gave it some air and tried to wait but it went to fast.... Dark fruits, chewy tannins...nice Red Mountain fruit that is well crafted. Seriously needs 5 years though on next one...

October 15, 2016 - Friends shared this after our 10/15/16 Delille Grand Ciel vertical. It had a tight, dense and brooding bouquet of black currant, black cherry, blackberry, espresso, toast, licorice, cinnamon and spice aromas. The palate was dense, tannic and dry with flavors of black currant, blackberry, toast, mocha, cocoa, licorice and spice. 92+

June 4, 2016 - Rich, delicious full-bodied black cherry fruit with cassis and coffee flavors, excellent structure, tight and very focused, need bottle age, ample finish

(Force Majeure Collaboration Series Cabernet Sauvignon Force Majeure Vineyard Red Mountain) A glass staining wine with pencil lead, black currant, mineral notes, and dark cherries. Wound up tightly at present, it’s a showstopper with a lot of complexity, richness of flavor, chewy tannins, and lively acidity. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (three separate clones: 8, 169, 191). Aged 20 months in French oak (100% new). 15.3% alcohol. 110 cases produced. Chris Gorman (Gorman Winery) winemaker.
