  February 19, 2024 - Absolutely no greenness this time, just an elegant, quite subtle mixture of red cherry and strawberry over a blackberry base. Very good, but probably not one for the really long haul.

  September 5, 2022 - Coming along nicely, this is a typically elegant, smooth Varennes, with subtle but persistent flavours of strawberry over a blackberry base. There is a greenness to the finish that some may not like, but it suited me fine.

  November 22, 2021 - Un peu plus ouvert qu'il y a 2 1/2 ans mais ça reste un peu vert et terne.
  Belle couleur grenat foncé, arômes reconnaissables de poivrons, puis quelques épices, en bouche feuilles de tabac, minéral, acidité prononcée.
  Je pense qu'il a besoin de quelques années mais ne sera jamais vraiment épanoui.
