March 8, 2024 - This was drinking great! Delicious concentration of red fruit and secondary elements, great presence and acidity. Good stuff

July 15, 2022 - The most expressive aromatics among three 02 red burgs, and the only village level wine. Lovely spice, smoke and earthen accents to still fresh black cherry aromas. Palate is nicely concentrated, at the 1er cru level, as the old vines work their magic. At peak.

July 15, 2022 - Burgundy BBQ (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Double blind in what turned out to be a 2002 flight. Clean and bright black fruit, I thought this showed 1er Crus concentration, and thought it younger than its actual age. Very good now.

March 16, 2018 - Barnyard / horse stable aromas. A bit rancid and sour in the mouth. Well over the top, at least this bottle.

September 25, 2016 - Stunning wine. Not being a cru but "Only" Chevillons basic is mindblowing. After 2 h decanting the wine shows so many layers of classic bourgogne.

(Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges Vieilles Vignes) Bricking medium dark red violet color; maturing, tart cherry, cranberry, sous bois nose; tasty, maturing, tart cranberry, tart cherry, mineral, tart raspberry palate, very structured; starting to peek open, but needs 1-2 years yet; medium-plus finish
