November 28, 2023 - A medium bodied and light ruby colored vino nobile. This wines palette is made of mostly cherries with mild amounts of iron and ash.
A bit dry still and yet also quite balanced in the acidity and tannin. The finish is mostly cherries, some fig and a dusty feel. I suppose that this wine is ready now. Open up these Jem’s ! I love older wine.
October 17, 2021 - 2/6, vg cork.
Dark ruby/garnet core, narrow pale ruby rim. Dark cherry fruited nose, still quite youthful if a touch reticent. Some vanilla and spice - quite classy. Medium/full bodied, dark cherry fruit, spice, touch of savoury meatiness, very fine tannins and then vibrant acidity carrying a good length, harmonious finish. Drinking quite well but no hurry here - at least another 5 years.
May 25, 2019 - Fruit has faded since my last note eighteen months ago. Still some hint of black cherries and spiciness. This should be consumed immediately before any more deterioration.

The body is medium. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
January 20, 2018 - drinking perfect right now
September 2, 2017 - Black cherries and raspberries, with a certain spiciness. In balance with medium tannic structure and a medium finish. Should have a year or two left, but probably won't change much.
March 26, 2017 - Aging very well! Perfect pairing with charcoal grilled lamb chops. Lovely elegant wine. Drink or keep 5-8 more yrs.
