June 13, 2019 - Celebrating the 30 years relationship of Frans and Adriana, June 10th (Babylon, Alkmaar): The mousse is a bit hefty, the bouquet shows a bit sweetness; the wine is very pure and friendly.

September 5, 2018 - Tasted at The Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. Light gold colour, with a hint of yellow. Nose shows pineapple, tropical fruits. The palate has plenty of acidity, buttery, rich. Long finish. 4 years on lees.

    May 26, 2017 - From 375 mL, tasted over 2 hrs
    -translucent light gold
    -yeast dominant
-high acidity and great mineral cut, med weight noticeable sweetness
-seems like fairly high dosage but acidity and minerality keep it from being flabby

(NV Legras Brut Champagne Blanc de Blancs) #1; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-very complex; rotten bread component (that I like); a mustard component; smoked wood action; great apple core & pears; has the complexity of $100 bottles; TASTE-great bubble action; great acidity; this has the chops of Crystal of Dom; very focused; I like this a whole lot; great mouthfeel; dominated by Granny Smith apple candy flavor, but very focused high acid ripping through; very food friendly (Lobster); can put away for 5-7 years easy; ST-92; GV-93+
