May 25, 2019 - Had this out of a half bottle, which I had since release.. In the beginning tertiary aromas were predominant.
Interestingly it needed at least an hour to open up. Bouquet of some cassis, truffles, cedar and some green tobacco leaves. On the palate quite fresh and still challenging tannins.
I guess this should hold another decades in a standard bottle.

May 18, 2019 - Drinking beautifully, medium bodied, and with good balance. Delicious

April 21, 2019 - Personally really liked this and it showed quite well especially after 2 hours in the decanter, cedar, pipe tobacco, leather, earth and some dried dark berries, relatively smooth palate with medium acidity, plenty of tannins and a good finish, I expect this will continue to develop for another 20 years

April 21, 2019 - Pretty much over the hill, which was disappointing. Decanted for an hour plus and definitely needed much more. While it is past its peak it got significantly better with more air. Whatever you are going to decant it for, double it. Nose had cherry and tar, which resembled a wine from years past. Wine lacked depth, strength, and flavor. Over time it expressed cherry elements. Minimal finish. Oh well, it was a ‘95 and it’s Easter!

April 6, 2019 - Before drinking this bottle, I got spoiled with a bottle of Bourgueil de Tamirault 2012 (100% Cab. Franc from Loire), but nevertheless this Pauillac was great! During the stand in the glass, it got thicken, very bourgeois... barnyard, earthy... a big enjoy

(Château Lynch-Bages) Very dark red violet color; musty nose initially, that changed to pencil lead and cassis nose; velvety textured, tasty, tart cassis, herbaceous, mineral palate with the beginning of some maturity; medium-plus finish 92+ pts.

(Lynch Bages) Beautiful nose of tabac, flowers, kirsch and minerals. Palate has loads of sweet fruit with beautiful restraint and great finish with sweet tannin. Great sense of finesse. Very impressive and I believe the first time I have had '95 Lynch.
