December 10, 2015 - SLDS December 2015: Stalk, cherry, floral, earth, raspberry and ash on an already complex nose. Beautiful palate balance with great acid drive over the bright red fruits. Has good depth to it already. Liked this more with additional time in the glass, and it should develop really nicely.

December 25, 2014 - Drank over three days, on the first and third days only. Stunning bouquet from the outset (PnP), that shows intense floral aromatics, red berry puree (cranberry & raspberry), evergreen forest (Fir and Spruce), pine tar, walk-in humidor, sage, juniper, damp deciduous forest floor, burnt green wood, and metallic ores. Rich, ripe, and utterly inviting palate that tastes like the bouquet smells. Concentrated and balanced acids, light tannins, delightful rounded, mouthwatering. The wine changes inflection like nobody's business, revealing compounded layers at every turn. Seductive mouthfeel, stalwart, elegant, and very long finish. An incredibly special wine! 95-96!
