April 23, 2022 - Slow ox for two hours. Lovely nose of roses, red fruit and herbs. The palate is medium bodied with good acidity, fully resolved tannins. Red cherry, cranberry, earth and spice. The fruit here is just beginning to dry out. I would drink these over the next few years.

December 29, 2021 - The second of two bottles found during a stock check, decanted for an hour to accompany venison steaks. Burgundian colour. Lovely rich nose of plums, aniseed, soft brown sugar. Then a palate of orange and plum fruit, leathery, dusty, with a long finish of dark berry fruits. Excellent, but surely has now peaked and won't improve further.

October 24, 2021 - Popped and poured. This is drinking beautifully now. Medium bodied, elegant yet still showing reasonably vigorous. Black cherry, rose, herbs and earth come through. This wine can continue to age for another 5-10 years
