July 1, 2013 - This one is a winner. I plan to buy more of next year's vintage for the summer.

    June 20, 2013 - A good Tavel kills this.

June 19, 2013 - Fresh Fruit nose. Strawberry and watermelon. ML Fermentation gives a soft but crisp and refreshing finish. $20 retail

June 7, 2013 - Oh, you. Such an amazing rosé, to my tastes. Not at all hollow like so many--the mid-palate sings with a tension and herbal/fruit thing (rhubarb? lime?). Really refreshing, and mouth-watering. Great tart/earthy balance. This is one of those wines that I had a hard time pinning down any fruit/veg/herb notes to compare the flavors to. But I know it was delicious and I drank it quickly.

May 20, 2013 - 12%. Screw cap. Old vine Carignane. Pale salmon. Fresh, crisp and dry with minerals, subtle strawberry and berry fruit, and notes of green herbs. Linear. Almost weightless. Enjoyed with sushi. On the 2nd day, the wines fruit aromatics were more pronounced but the wine had lost some zing, but picked up a little body.
