April 23, 2022 - Popped and poured. This is really lovely. Almost Burgundian in style. Ripe blackberry, herbs, smoke and spice. Complex with interesting layering. Doesn’t show any heat despite the high alcohol level. Aging really well.

February 25, 2022 - Decanted and poured. Dark, impenetrable color with a bit of orange-ish age at the rim. Prunish black fruit and mincemeat on the nose. Super-ripe and powerfully alcoholic with black fruits and baked raisin flavors along with an espresso bitterness. Resolved dry tannins and baked dry blackberry on the finish. Clearly a bit over the edge and over the hill, but it blew off a bit.

November 25, 2021 - Dark in the glass, berry jam on the nose. Cherry and berries on the palate with a lingering fruitiness and a touch of black pepper on the finish. We greatly enjoyed this wine with our Thanksgiving meal. Having a Turley is part of our tradition!
