December 8, 2020 - 42% Syrah/38% Grenache/20% Mourvedre. Beautiful, creamy effort here with dark plum and black cherry fruit up front. Really easy drinking right now with notes of licorice, cedar, and subtle earth and tobacco. Tannins have mellowed at this point but leaves a long lingering finish. Drink up.

November 22, 2017 - Decanted for one hour with some sediment. Quite reticent fruit with solid acidity before the decant. After the decant, the nose of dark red fruits and cedar expressed itself. These followed on the palate, along with bracing acidity, and well integrated tannins. A very pleasant mouth-full of wine. Should hold for several years.

December 5, 2016 - I don't know if due to perfect timing and aging, but whatever the reason I have rarely tasted a more perfect and satisfying bottle of wine. From the initial cassis and dark fruits the flavors progress seamlessly and softly through a long soft finish all the while impressing with the fullness and richness of the mouthfeel.
