    March 11, 2023 - A very good, though not great bottle of Cornas. Shut down at the moment. Graphite, blackberry, peppercorn.

    February 20, 2021 - Deep, quite elegant nose. Blackberry, black plum, violets, black pepper and charcuterie. Fully ready.
    Fullish with high, fresh acidity. Very good, but not fantastic concentration. Warm fruit. Blackberry, black pepper and iron minerality. Traditional style with no oak apparent. Elegant and balanced. Very good now with a decant.

    January 10, 2021 - Ich würde sagen der Wein ist jetzt genau auf den Punkt! Wunderschön subtile hellrote bis rote Frucht. Mittelgewichtig. Gute, perfekt eingebundene Säure und dadurch eine tolle Frische und Balance. Schöne Kräuterwürzigkeit und unterschwellig ein klein wenig dreckig! Verdammt lecker! Jetzt trinken!

    November 25, 2020 - Slow ox'ed for over an hour. Light-medium garnet-ruby in colour. Nose of smoky black cherries, violets, mushrooms, and some dark leather. On the palate are chewy red and dark berries along with some black peppers and a touch of cranberry. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Feels like this can still improve with a few more years in the bottle.

    June 8, 2020 - Double decanted. Much better with 2 hours of air. It becomes more rich. This is very nice. Cassis, black currant, herbal, savory, finish here is long. Glad I have more.

    March 28, 2020 - Buttermilch and wet Stone on the nose. Still garnish red in color. Hints of red fruit and salvie on the palete. Tannins are still strong and there are notes of leather and horsestable. As temperature rises blackcurrent comes into play and licorice in the long finish

    March 13, 2020 - Three hour decant, this could open for a couple of days and continue to benefit. The bouquet is filled dark fruit and black olives. The palate is heavy with deep tannins and striking acidity, this leaves a long streak of memory on the palate. A clear reminder of how good syrah from the Cornas region can be.
