August 18, 2023 - Pronounced nose with notes of sandal wood, toast, charr wood, forest floor, spices. Medium tannin and acidity. Still holding up but will not improve anymore. Drink up.

May 16, 2023 - Chateau Figeac masterclass: Five decades of a St-Emilion stalwart, from 1966 tp 2016 (67 Pall Mall London): Big nose of mature saddle leather. In full tertiary development. This is fully mature and starting its downward trajectory but retains good acidity and freshness. This gave the 1982 a run for its money and the two wines were very similar in profile.
