Community Tasting Notes 7

    February 11, 2018 - Dark appearance
    Leather, herbs, cherry nose
Bitter cherry on the palate with a slightly hot medicinal finish
Quite soft, not a lot of tannic structure left.
    Good with food, nothing special.
    Drink now.

April 17, 2016 - Opened and had a little test a few hours before drinking. Alcoholic, youthful, fruity. Suggested it needed plenty of air. Decanted for four hours and poured into a large glass. Totally pulled about in the appropriate riedel vinum glass. Like a spirit. Better in a smaller glass. Bitter black cherry.

June 19, 2015 - Tried this at a blind tasting, would never say it is Barbera. Color of Nebbiolo, aromas of Merlot with medium tannins and medium (+) acidity. Nice finish and potential.

May 28, 2014 - Leider ein bisschen sauer, ist wohl noch ein bisschen früh

January 2, 2014 - Really nice plum, blackberry and violet notes. Shaved chocolate and some cherry liquor as well. This was a balanced, complete wine that went very well with the braised pork shoulder we made for NYE.
