February 21, 2022 - Golden yelllow. Quite mature, honey, citrus, lanolin, wax. Palate is balanced with an oily mouthfeel, but fresh acidity in the long finish. Drink now.

May 15, 2021 - We drank our last bottle of this almost exactly 3 years ago and marked its passing with some sadness. We just bought 6 more at roughly the same price as the current vintage, and we’re excited, but also somewhat concerned that it may be outside its drinking window.

No need to worry - the overall experience is nearly as fulfilling and as exciting as we remembered. I have a slight feeling that it is not quite as well balanced as before, with a noticeable sweetness followed by strong acidity. Both are good, but would be better at the same time! The texture is notable - but indescribable for me anyway....

Still lovely, but is it just on the way down? Another 5 to go....

November 17, 2019 - Monthly Tasting Group: Spain (Estelle, St. Paul, MN): Light gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. This was moe like a Lopez white in character. There was a lot of interesting notes on the nose with lacquer, white fruits, jasmine tea and pear. The palate is full body with a soft more oil infused texture; melon, jasmine, pear, lacquer and mineral. Very good with our tapas.

December 30, 2017 - Top notch. This seems to be firmly in the drink now zone to my palate. Right away the nose made me think of classy white Burgundy without the reductive struck match thing. Brighter and sharper in the mouth though. This is very subtle and has a gentleness that could lead to it being overlooked if placed in amongst a rowdy session.
