  August 21, 2017 - 13% alcohol. Superb cork. The colour is pale gold with a suggestion of "oeil de perdrix" nuance. The nose is rich, more flowery than fruity. The palate is along the same lines, but it has a faint oxidised note; this is still very mild, and it does not detract unduly from the enjoyment to be had from this bottle. No complaint from me, I knew the risk that I was taking when buying a 6-year old Condrieu, and the price was appropriately reduced. Nevertheless, if I had more I would drink it quickly.
  I had the 2016 Viognier from the Ardèche in parallel, and no matter how you contort it, the price ratio (a factor 9 or so) is hard to justify. I know where to get my Viognier fix in future, most of the time anyway.

  April 5, 2013 - Nez très "condrieu" sur les fruits exotiques mûrs (pêche, mangue, poire) avec des notes florales très prononcées. La bouche n'est pas la plus complexe, mais tout y est: longueur, fruit, gras, le tout supporté par une belle acidité (on est loin de Chablis, on s'entend, mais souvent les vins de Viognier manque d'acidité et paraissent mous, ce qui n'est pas le cas du tout avec celui-ci). Un beau Condirieu et un bon rapport qualité/prix.
