February 28, 2024 - Any Rhone (A Side Public House): Drank a small glass over 45 minutes. Lots of floral notes and some pleasant minerality. This was drinking much nicer than it was 8 years ago.

February 25, 2024 - Monthly Tasting Group: All the Rhones (A - Side Public House, St. Paul, MN): Pale straw color. Small glass over an hour. Savvory, brine, peach, stone, pear; medium bodied, lots of river rock, stone fruit. Still solid. 91+pts.

June 7, 2022 - This is darned serious juice. And, at 11 years, it's still fresh. Nose creamy stone fruit, spicy, anise, citrus rind. So much going on here. Palate mineral structured - and still with fresh acidity all these years later. Cream texture, malolactic for sure, but not offensive here. Such a long finish - some astringency still. This is one fo those wines that manages to be truly "big" but still elegant and balanced. Few producers manage to do these things simultaneously - Chave has a deft hand at this.

July 4, 2020 - Med- full body, delicious richly flavored and fulfilling. Medium acidity, stone fruits but more raisiny. Mineral, honey, subtle spices. Fabulous.

May 11, 2020 - delicious medium bodied white from northern Rhone, delightful stone fruit notes, with a slight bitter almond finish, lending food compatibility. medium acidity (may have had more when younger?), controlled fruit.
