January 25, 2023 - Very few of these on cellartracker. Was surprised to see this 12 year old white crozes hermitage at a NJ retailer, so thought we’d explore what age does to white northern rhone.

Bottle and cork in great condition. Aired about an hour before getting into it. Deep golden colored body yet completely transparent. Delicate white flowers, apple, pear and honeysuckle on nose. Palate is dry with vanilla apple, honeysuckle, dry stones, white pepper, slight lemon curd and a rather long finish and tannin for a white.

100% Marsanne sourced from a small 2.5 ha, south-facing plot of 60 year old+ vines. Aged for 14 months in French oak.
