October 6, 2022 - Extremely odd wine, not corked, but a nose of Sherwin-Williams enamel paint, persistent after an hour decant. Not a pleasing wine in ant aspect. Bottle stored in temp control cellar since new (wine club). Not at all representative of Pruett wines.

September 18, 2015 - Wine of the night. True fruit bomb, but not over heated. Rich, velvety and round. Textures, flavors and tannins in perfect balance and harmony.

February 26, 2015 - Maybe my palate is shifting, but I found this bottle to be simple. Good, but simple. Still lots of fruit, but not much tannins. Enjoyable and should cellar easily for 5+ more years, but not the complexity I now tend to look for in wines. GOOD.

March 16, 2014 - Crowd pleaser of the night over the 2011 vintage of Lucky Lauren, Keplinger 09 Sumo and a 2010 Hall Cab. Lots of fruity velvet and rich berry flavors. Some nutmeg, baking spice, leather and toasty vanilla. Near perfect balance.

November 2, 2013 - This is a really special wine that has flown under the radar. Fantastic nose and fruit, consistent with first bottle. I'll sit on the next few - interested in how it ages. EXCELLENT.

October 27, 2013 - Bright, fruit forward and elegantly rich. Textures are smooth and velvety, with a hint of oak to provide a near perfect balance. Picked up a wonderful cinnamon and nutmeg note on the mid-palate. This wine is in a great place right now.

May 10, 2013 - Splash decanted. Nice fresh nose, new world Rhone style wine. Smooth mouthfeel, good fruit, well balanced with no real tannins to speak of. Had with cold pork loin, cheese, and crackers. This is a really nice wine, and better than many 2-3X the price. Highly recommend. EXCELLENT.

April 13, 2013 - The oddest but very deep palate of navel orange and blood orange and sweet cherry. Hints of oak layer the back end and the wine very slowly fades into candied orange peel on the finish.

February 20, 2013 - Dark, rich and warm, with layers of ripe black and red cherries, chocolate, spice, smoke and red cedar. Bottomless and well balanced. Tannins are thick and velvety. Yummy.
