February 7, 2014 - Pale lemon color. Lots of fruit on the nose - citrus, green apple, peach, plus almond, vanilla, and a little floral. That plus a little spice and minerality on the palate. And pepper when it approaches room temperature. Mouth-watering acidity. Full body, medium (13%) alcohol, long finish with the acidity, fruit, spice and minerality all nicely balanced. Gorgeous! I'll have to try an older Gruner to see what they are like.
