August 4, 2021 - popped and poured. very enjoyable. dark garnet color. dark red fruit with secondary hints of tobacco and dirt? pretty cherry notes, some dark chocolate hints, some tobacco bay leaf savory notes. tannins still there and probably would be better with red meat but I had this with pasta. regardless, a very yummy wine and def in a great drinking window now.

May 10, 2020 - This wine is big yet graceful. Decanting for an hour gave way to an incredible nose. The tannins are just perfect and provide incredible structure throughout. My palate tasted black fruits, mocha, and a combination of vanilla and leather. Incredible wine.
