  April 19, 2023 - My last of 6 bottles of this vintage. Part of a Grenache tasting with my wine group. The WOTN out of the 4 reds. Subtle and refined. Lots of flavors of fruit and spice, medium+ length finish.

  February 3, 2023 - I brought this to Turkish restaurant with my wine group, and this was the final wine of the night, which meant it was opened, but not decanted for over 90 minutes before we poured it. It was a huge hit with the group with 7 out of 8 of us having it as our favorite. For the price, this is an outstanding buy. I think it still has years of life ahead of it.

  July 3, 2021 - Had with an outstanding paella for 20; among numerous ‘big gun’ French & Italian wines, this was in the top 5 of the night, the sleeper or surprise as it was called. Strong tannins and still 5+ years from its peak, cherries, mulled fruit, high acid. A real gem, proof that Spanish wines can stand up to the best of Europe. Really compares to other 95 pt wines.
