May 9, 2022 - This bottle was a magnum. We had this in celebration for my daughters’ graduations. Excellent wine. Jammy front end. Great nose. Slight alcohol finish. Not hot. With a mag 5+ years left of life I believe.

June 11, 2019 - Black cherry, licorice, cola and leather make up a fabulous nose. Big bodied, with more dark berries with raspberry notes mingling in with the nose flavors. Tannins are still solid but the wine is well balanced and drinking nicely with a brief decant. Still has the structure to go many more years.

September 28, 2017 - My last note really remains valid tonight. i will just add that this may have a little upside if you leave it 2-3 more years.

August 19, 2017 - Soft, velvety wine with good fruit and lingering nose. Drinking very well as a pop and pour.

August 3, 2017 - very bold ripe style. I actually thought the fruit carried it well but you have got to be Ok with the style. Blueberry, espresso beans, milk chocolate - you get lots of upfront sweet fruit and lots of oak related influence, and not a lot else. Went well with steak and I thought the quality was high for $80 in Napa - would buy again in the style.
