Community Tasting Notes 1

October 22, 2013 - Nice clear plummy ruby hue. Dominant nose of arabica black coffee, with secondary aromas of bramble fruit and American vanilla oak. Mildly sweet on the initial, medium tannin and body with a relatively high level of acidity. Quick straightforward transition that culminates in a cherry mouthfeel, lightly leafy and vegetal quick finish. This is a novelty wine that is rather off kilter wrt to acidity, but a nice conversation starter. Overall still pretty nice.
