August 18, 2021 - Wonderful wine. Used the riedel syrah glass. Color remains purple/red with few signs of aging. Little to low tannin and little fruit but a delicious deep berry-earth flavor. T didn't care for but I'm looking forward to next bottle.
Update: drank last btl feb 2022 and still showing beautifully.

August 8, 2014 - Medium(+)-deep ruby with garnet rim, narrow legs @ 13% abv. Medium aromas of ripe cherries, cured meat, brambles, tobacco. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium(-) tannin, medium alcohol and medium(+) body. Medium flavors of dark cherries, blueberries, red berries. Velvety texture, good balance. Good length with elegant finish not without gravitas.
