Community Tasting Notes 3

  • LW31 Does not like this wine:

September 7, 2018 - Served a glass. Perfectly fine, but rather dominated by oak and hard to get past that. Like most Gangloffs I've had, this was overworked.

October 23, 2014 - Ten St.Joseph and a couple of Cornas - blind tasting: (Tasted blind) Interesting, vegetable nose that reminded me of Chinon - boiled carrot, some unripe red berries, mushroom. A very mild peppery bite on the finish. (B/B+)

July 23, 2013 - Similar to the Cote Rotie, fruit a bit masked by oak at opening, but much better 3 hours later and next day. Cellar.
