    February 20, 2022 - Just wonderful!

December 19, 2020 - From 62cl, opened but not decanted 30 minutes, continued to improve until final drop. This extraordinariy VJ tastes just as fresh as it did when I first tasted it on 13.09.2013, but with maturity has gained added depth. Now it's a fabulously dense, mouth-pickling, eternally-long elixir with astonishing concentration and penetrating depth wihtout any hint of heaviness. Can't wait to taste the Les Bruyères of the same vintage (South, as opposed to East-facing slopes) and then finally return to my last bottle of Les Spois. Yes, at 41 EUR/62cl cellar door back in the day this was an expensive wine, but I have rarely been so glad to have invested in liquid pleasure. A recent purchase of BS/AM Tissot 2011 VJ at cellar door cost 61,10 EUR/62cl, let's see how that one turns out... Perfect maturity now, no hurry. 95P

    May 29, 2015 - Colour: dark straw.
Nose: curry powder, almonds, citrus peel - esp candied lemon peel. Intense, oxidative, but fresh and clean. Nashi pear? Sweet spice.
Palate: Curry powder. Almond. Preserved/candied lemon peel. Fresh lemon juice. Notes of caramel. Almonds. Rich, oxidative. Fresh and citrus-like acidity -- very lively. Very long on the palate. Complex. Fresh and clean. 15% alc.
