November 2, 2017 - Fantastic nose of cherry, raspberry, wet leaves and oak. Beautiful full bodied Pinot that drinks rich, even more than the 14% alcohol. Still really nice and extremely enjoyable.

October 21, 2017 - Crushed stone cherry pie underbrush. Savory and complex. Silky earthy and well contained fruit. Fruit may spike on end but this is an elegant and well structured wine. With prominent red fruit and the earth to support.

May 16, 2016 - Very pleasant medium-bodied Pinot Noir. Some Cola elements and good structure on the back end. Not overly Rudy. Good balance for food.

October 2, 2014 - Soft tasting notes, and delicious cherry over the palate. Excellent Pinot.

January 20, 2014 - Very deep fruit, kindof overripe. We've had some lately that have been borderline rotten flavored, but this steers clear of going that far. More plum, some almost gasoline-like, a bit of spice at the end. Overall a pretty nice daily drinker. Don't see this evolving much, feel free to dig in now.

August 24, 2013 - Purchased at the winery. Loved the 2010 and this was almost as good. Agree with FM III below.

August 12, 2013 - Of all the Melville pinots we tasted on the visit, this showed the least whole cluster signature, although it did also show the heat note I got on a few others. The palate is polished, glossy, with red hard candy, spice cake and red fruit jam.
