November 26, 2018 - Big dark fruit. Plum, blackberry and black currant. Creamy chocolate and licorice. Fully bodied and high alcohol. I wouldn’t say it was hot but it was a bit prickly. It was definitely noticeable. A little bit too plush for me too with very little tannin structure and low acid. Started to fall apart on day two getting jammy with flavours of prunes and dates. Not bad if you like this style but knock it over in one hit as it definitely deteriorated overnight.
