July 18, 2014 - Slightly confected, but a decent wine. Gives some hint of the Shafer 1.5 we had the other night in its fruit, but this is nowhere near that bottle in depth, spice and intensity.

February 15, 2014 - Visiting Napa (Feb 13th - 17th); 2/13/2014-2/17/2014 (Napa, CA): This was a very polished wine with Red and Blue fruit on the palate as well as a bit of sage and allspice. Tannins are well integrated making this good for near term drinking.
