January 27, 2022 - Tåler 16,5 prosent godt. Drukket til tapas og der fungerte greit. Lukter tørker frukt nesten brun i fargen.

June 23, 2015 - Deep garnet. Leather and earthy smells on the nose. Medium full bodied, balanced, very well contentration at tha palate. Spicy and medium-long finish.

April 11, 2015 - Quick sip at Davyd's place. Tasted blind. Aired in decanter for about 30mins.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with coffee, cocoa, and green leafiness with more air. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, high alcohol with significant heat, medium+ tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, black plums, green tea leaves, bit of coffee and slight bitter herbaceousness towards the finish. Medium+ finish.
Barely acceptable quality. Where are the raisins and oomph of flavour from a typical good Amarone? The high alcohol is significantly felt here because there is just insufficient fruit blast here to support. Maybe a lack of phenolic ripeness at harvest? Drink up, I feel there is no point ageing this.

August 23, 2013 - My first Amarone... Quite thick with almond tastes dominating the profile. A bit too alcoholic, but quite interesting.
