May 4, 2010 - Pungent, puckering nose of rambutan and curry. Yellowish, with watery legs. Potent spiciness for a white, with widely ranging pale fruits, a bit musky. Some apple, chayote, and gooseberry. Snappy acidity. Savory herbal characters finish out. There's a faint solvent-like character to this that puts me off a touch, but otherwise it's a complex glass.

May 12, 2009 - UK Launch of Friulano (LIWSF, London): This feels a bit muddy on the nose - muddly, unclear and spirity, with really quite a volatile feel. Very rich on the palate. Much better than the nose woudl suggest. This is friulano in a very rich style. There's plenty of acidity though. Really needs food to blossom.
