October 26, 2021 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like oak. It tastes like black currant (cassis). The body is full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

May 13, 2020 - The wine was stored in ideal conditions since its release. The filling-level was into the neck. The long cork was almost completely soaked, but sat tight, no seepage. The wine still had a beautiful bright, medium to dark ruby colour and offered red fruit, cherry, blackberry, cassis, bell pepper, cedar, pencil shaving/graphite, leather, tobacco, spices and balsamic notes on the nose and palate, with lively acidity, fully resolved tannin and very good length of the dry finish.

The medium-bodied, medium-complex wine was quite smooth and very balanced and had a classic Pauillac profile. It has aged very well and the wine's texture was quite love, but the wine had benefited from better concentration and lacked the extra something to make it special. Somehow this classic, smooth, well-balanced wine did not manage to excite me tonight. But its complaining at a very high level, admittedly, and the wine still drank well the next day. Drink now.

November 1, 2018 - Cassis, beautifully ripe, medium length, some metallic notes but not too much of an issue
