October 23, 2018 - Flowers, dark plum, meat on the nose. Dark fruit on the palate with bright acids on a tannic base and aromatic back notes. 50 + 16 + 17 + 8 = 91.
June 16, 2018 - Crusty floral nose with dark fruit and elements of pipe tobacco and allspice. Dense dry aromatic fruit on the palate, penetrating with underlying tannins and lovely acid bracing at the back. Beautifully balanced. 50 + 17 + 18 + 8 = 93.
November 8, 2017 - As tasty as the last bottle!
October 3, 2017 - Dark berry, pepper, and a hint of smoke on the nose and palate with tasty whole cluster notes on the moderate finish. Drinking well!
September 23, 2017 - Not much has changed since the last bottle in April. Simple, savory, with medium fruit underneath. Good with food. Drink now or over next 3-4 years.

July 3, 2017 - 4 years in between TNs and this is my only bottle, sourced in 2017 from Winebid. Since the last time I have had this, the wine has softened. For context, I opened this y/day so it's sat out on the counter overnight just adding air under the open cork. I'm also tasting it at room temp, about 75f so that also is adding I am sure to the softened tones. There is some residual minerality here, and the blue fruit core from when I tasted in in 2013, it's now evolved into a more savory, tarry, bloody kind of thing with some brushings of rosemary from the whole cluster. My sense is that this is not going to age much more, although if you wanted to do that, then I think you'll find the wine quite soft by the time you get the bottle open. So, drink now, enjoy what is here.
April 7, 2017 - Decanted. A little funk on the nose, some savory notes, underlying fruit. An understated wine, but fruit came through as we worked through the bottle. Should drink well for several more years.
January 16, 2017 - Pepper, dark berries, blood, iron.
