  March 11, 2023 - Pop and pour. A bit of star anise, followed by ripe fruits. Still has some decently robust tannins with a medium length finish. Not as fragrant as I remember it being when it was younger. Might need to decant a bit longer to let it open up.

  April 21, 2022 - I agree with RJurMan. I wasn't expecting much, however, this wine was still well-balanced, albeit with lower acidity and tannins, but still with bright, ripe, black fruit. Probably has 1-2 years of bottle life left, but better to consume now. Why wait?

  January 7, 2022 - Not much left in it. Rather flat and not much character. Hints of what it was but somewhat disappointing after Justin pitched a vertical special over Christmas of 2011, 12, 13 and 14 small format. Should have done some research instead of just jumping on the 'deal'.

  December 3, 2021 - Found this in the back of a Eurocave that died on me. I didn't expect much after reading the reviews but this is honestly in a really good place. Fruit was bright and this bottle showed no signs of decline. I would drink them now just because it it was drinking so well.
