February 11, 2021 - This was a little sleeping beauty. I purchased a handful in 2014 and had the most recent bottle in 2016. At $10 this was knock out value and a reminder that I should drink more Bordeaux, because there is still value to be found away from the 1st etc. growths and big names.

Bordeaux for the table. Tannins fully integrated, only touches of aged character, so smooth and food-friendly. Cedar, mint, fennel seed, pine forest floor, Kalamata olive, dark chocolate peeking through. A rustic touch with a clean, medium finish. Bordeaux for the people!

75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. 20% new barrique. 13.5% abv

April 11, 2020 - I opened this one and let sit for 24 hours. Nice bouquet of flavors, berry. Medium tannins. Fairly similar to the previous bottle.

April 9, 2020 - We opened and let sit for 1 hour. Nose was rich, fruity/jam, but I had to work to get the aroma to come out of the wine. Rich, deep purple color, no sign of aging. Berry, fruit flavor initially, dry on the pallet after. Decent red for mid-week dinner.

April 5, 2018 - Uncork 90 min before, decant 45-60 min. Low acidity. Blackberry, oak, medium body. Violet colored, medium legs. Moderate sediment in the bottle. The wine has round texture. Nice drinking wine. Great value.
