    January 18, 2020 - Wow..!
This is the best bottle out of a sixpack that I bought at an auction 3 years ago...
And although I already was impressed by the first four bottles, this one really punches above its weight. And age.
Cranberreis , cherries, dried herbs, attractive acidity, faint hints of orange peel and sandalwood.
Could easily be mistaken for a 10 year old (!) Chianti.... without the tannines.

    February 20, 2018 - Still alive.... wow.
Not the most complex nor concetrated wine, but holding up very well.
    Bright acidity, transparant and elegant.
    Cranberries, cherries and plums.
An amazing achievement for this entry-level label.

June 15, 2017 - UWS (@ JB): Dark fruits, sweet spices and some smoke in the bouquet. On the palate ripe dark berry fruits, beautifully dosed oak and good acidity. Elegant wine. Classical style.

December 10, 2016 - A private tasting (Restaurant De Ertepeller, Papendrecht. NL): Tasted blind. Mature but lively appearance; ripe and spicy nose, Grenache-dominated, spices, hint of barnyard, smoky, warm chestnuts, glowing, liquorice; supple and rounded palate, like an old Châteauneuf, mature, transparent; complete finish, very good length. We were all extremely surprised to hear that this was a Merlot!

September 11, 2016 - still fresh! Cranberry fruit, nebbiolo colour, floral fundament, rose petal.
