February 14, 2021 - Opened for a couple of hours, drank from a magnum. The body is medium plus, doesn’t smell too much, the palate is flat, high in acidity and alcohol. Placed in the decanter to see if it improve and did not. At least for the next 2 hours it stayed in a drinkable stage. The very last sip was excellent but I’m not sure if it was a mental state or it reached its oxidation peak point….

August 22, 2020 - Flavors of black fruit, cherries and very slight currant. Low acidity and moderate legs. This wine has reached its peak (maybe just slightly past its peak - as the flavors are beginning to decrease). It is enjoyable, but needs to be consumed now.

August 29, 2019 - Drunk in social setting, didn’t take notes. But I remember that this seemed right in its sweet spot. Polished and in balance, including the fruit. Seemed very elegant and grown up compared to the 2014 Groth Napa cab that preceded it.
