October 31, 2014 - While not a big Grenache fan, we found this quite drinkable.

May 4, 2014 - Starting to think the thin 2011 vintage just stayed thin all over California. It isn't bad. It's good. But just doesn't have the longer finish I appreciate. Noting this on all Pinot and cabs too from that vintage. I'm staying away from now on.

April 4, 2014 - Do not agree with the "tannic" comment. I find this wine extremely well-balanced even now, but I also look forward to giving it some more time to become the best it can be.

February 15, 2014 - This is a big bold and tannic grenache. More of a tough and structured wine than I expect for this grape. Has the spice that is standard, but also quite a bit of earth and sticks and dirt. There's an underlay of some black fruits. Prob should have waited to drink this one, but with the weather as it is the new daily drinkers haven't made it in. Still a good wine.
