December 30, 2018 - Purple hue that opens with marjoram and tomato leaf aromas. Roasted tomato and black cherry flavors dominate the palate. Excellent acidity/fruit balance in this full-bodied wine with a lasting finish of espresso.

December 8, 2018 - Drank with homemade meatballs and pasta and as expected they went very well together. The wine looks inky colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raspberry, blackberry, prune, cherry, mineral and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), cherry and mineral. The body is light/medium. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
