December 28, 2022 - Hazy note from a couple of days ago. This was a fairly rich and ripe style of Savennieres, with a mix of citrus and stonefruit on the medium bodied, waxy palate. A bit of alcohol warmth on the finish was the only negative (B+/A-).

September 29, 2020 - Last Tuesday Supper Club (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Chalky minerality, kerosene, lime over lemon. Medium plus intensity acidity with a touch of softness to the citrus fruit (smidge of residual sugar?) and there is some alclohol warmth on the finish as well as a touch of bitterness. Hmm.

February 24, 2020 - Surprisingly low acid. After 30 mins, well balnced and quite tasty. Even better on day 2.

December 24, 2019 - Nicely underripe quince, yellow apple and lemon, along with curds (that great lactic Baumard quality) and a hint of pineapple brightness. Simultaneously fresh and rich on the palate, a little wax, gently honeyed and spiced (ginger too), a little lemon-pithy, great balance of r.s. and acidity, off-dry front palate with a drier/fresher finish. It is a tad alcoholic, but its very well balanced
