Critic tasting note: "Rather opaque core here, with a purple-blue hue. Fine nose, still quite youthful with a dominance of dark fruit, slight hint of oak there, but mainly crushed dark berries; like cassis and plum. Aromatically, it really needs some air to open up, but it really delivers more on the palate. It is a good degree of concentration here. Much more of the dark fruit, inside we talk about that inky core of that juicy dark berry fruit, still with that tannic presence, but quite polished in terms of texture. So plenty of them, but really soft and subtle. Still with a youthful freshness there; like freshly crushed berry fruit, with good level of acidity as well. Nice purity and definition. There is a little hint of oak in the background. Just adding a slight, slight hint of roasted coffee. Good purity of fruit on the finish. Long and persistent, really keeps delivering on the after taste. Nice wine which is already without hard edges. Perfectly drinkable I would say, but once again this quality really vouches for further evolution." - 93/100, Andreas Larsson - Tasted

Vintage quality: Good
Current condition: Ready to drink, will keep
The 2012 vintage for Bordeaux was small and difficult at times, but not without moments of greatness.
Spring was tricky, with damp conditions – April was extraordinarily wet – delaying both budburst and flowering, the latter finally occurred in June. Howev...
