July 9, 2023 - Nose was a little odd at first. Touch of volatility, maybe a slightly stewed note. Opened c3 hrs before dinner by the time we drank it it had cleaned up. Dark, brooding savoury notes. Huge contrast with the Burgundian Monprivato 2009 alongside. (At Wild Flor.)

September 19, 2021 - Mein erster Voerzio Cerequio.

October 29, 2018 - This wine has really improved since my last bottles! A wonderful Barolo that is drinking fantastic now! It needed 1+ hours of air. An amazing nose of ripe red fruit, sweet flowers and spices, with hints of graphite, leading to a lush smooth mouth.

Enjoyed at Barbusa in San Diego.

January 6, 2018 - No formal note but this wine took 3 hours in a decanter to come around. A really nice wine!

April 16, 2016 - Perfumed and expressive notes of dried fruit, sweet red fruit, tar, some graphite, licorice and some sweet spices. It's medium-full bodied, pretty rich with medium-high acidity and high tannin adding grip and freshness. Excellent length. This is still very young in terms of evolution. I would give this quite a few years before tasting again. Very impressive though. (94+)
