    January 18, 2020 - Was concerned that I had held this Zinfandel too long, but no regrets. Structure was in tact. Big bold dark fruit with superb mouthfeel. Jammy but with notes of white pepper. Served with brisket chili.

    April 8, 2018 - Opened for orange and not black chicken. Jammy thick and sensual. Throwing some dirt, this wineshine black chicken trends to the older style of jam bomb zin that has a voluptuous and hedonistic side. Blackberry juice, dark blueberry, plum, raisin and toasty hoisin notes. Still plenty of fruit pumping the octane through the fuel injectors. Excellent when in the mood.
