February 21, 2015 - Meh...
September 17, 2014 - Decided to start thinning the cellar of some unimpressive wines. Glad I knocked this one off. Consistent with prior notes and just average. Doesnt live up to the label hype but is fine to drink on a weeknight with pizza. Medium bodied but the finish falls flat.
September 14, 2014 - Vinturied into a decanter then poured. Colour of dark ruby with some garnet. Nose of licorice and sweet red berries with some blackberries. Palate of plums and red unripe cherries with some green herbs; light for a cab and tannic on the front. I probably would not have guessed cab if tasted blind.
June 14, 2014 - Good for a table wine. Not really a cab. Not much body.
May 9, 2014 - Inexpensive red. Although a cabernet - behaves like a table red.
April 23, 2014 - Did not like this at all.
March 26, 2014 - Good, "everyday" wine. Decanted and it smoothed out. Fruit forward but not much of a finish. For the price, a good table wine.
November 29, 2013 - Medium-Full bodied. Bright fruit upfront and then it seems to fall a bit flat. May improve with some age. One dimensional fruit right now. Next in 2015 or later.
August 26, 2013 - Pleasantly surprised. PNP'd after decanting for 30 mins. Great fruit..wt nice finish. Wish I had more.
