October 28, 2019 - Decanted and served with grilled NY Strip steak. Compared to previous bottles, this was a bit less fruit forward and not as impressive. Still, a good, but not excellent inexpensive Bordeaux.

May 20, 2019 - 30 min decant. Impressive nose of blackberry with some nice secondary elements. Similar on the palate. Elegant with good balance, low acidity, gentle tannins on the finish. Great overall and drinking very well now.

October 12, 2018 - Good, but not great. Loved the 2010. This one took a bit...about 90 min...to open. Then released a bouquet of plum, peppermint and cinnamon, pipe tobacco clove and oak. Pleasant mouthfeel, balanced fruit and tannins, low to med acidity, with signature PL chalkiness. The finish doesn’t linger, though.

October 2, 2018 - Once opened, an aroma of oak, black currants, and tobacco fills the nose. On first sip, a wonderfully dark and rich Bordeaux. After decanting for a few hours, the wine became smoother with additional cherries and plums on the palate. A great everyday Bordeaux and well worth the money.
