May 13, 2023 - As my previous review, two years on. I was looking forward to trying this again and was not disappointed: It’s excellent. Ruby/purple, nose of smooth plum, blueberry, red berry fruits. Still good acidity, very nicely balanced, softened a little since 2021, modest farmyardy flavours, brambly. An enticing sweetness and lift. Nice match with Ottolenghi stuffed aubergine with lamb and pine nuts.

August 29, 2022 - Has opened up and calmed down since 2019. now delicious on pnp.

Ripe, medium-soft, attractive, fragrant, tons of acid, a good bit of medicinal astringence, and moderate alcohol=win. Not much complexity but clearly old-world

    not rustic but not overwrought.

(professional drinking windows on this were crap: drink through 2020? lol At 10 it's vibrant, youthful and has come into its own. I'm drinking all of mine in the near term)

February 13, 2021 - Nice deep purple red in the glass. Nose was a bit farmyard, mahogany, tobacco, and deep red berry fruit coming through. Taste was soft if initially tart, but in time smoothed out softening to flavours of earthy blackcurrant and blackberry with warmth and depth. Very pleasing. Perfect with roast lamb.

March 2, 2020 - Still quite youthful, but very approachable, with medium weight and fresh blackcurrant/plum fruit. A good mid-range claret and not overly expensive.
