March 19, 2023 - What a change. After an abundance of tropical fruit at arrivage, very closed two years later and now nicely developed with aromas of honey, flowers, lemon and a bit of green grass. Complex and developing within the first two hours. Yellow colour, bright and clear. In the mouth a bit of vanilla, mouthwatering acidity, smooth and velvety with warming, perfectly integrated alcohol of 13.5 vol. Quite long finish. Great stuff. Very slight bitter note. Paired with swordfish matched with fried fennel in orange sauce, polenta in vegetable broth and dried tomatoes. Good pairing.

June 18, 2020 - Decanted for 1 hour. Extremely good with notes of tropical fruits, honey, white grapefruit and autumn leaves. Rich and mellow. Nicely evolved in the glass for another 1,5 hours. Paired with seafood and truffle risotto. Good to drink now but still has some years to fully develop. I’ll buy more for €60.

July 24, 2019 - I opened, but didn't decant, this about 2.5 hours before drinking with a dish of "Canadian Black Cod with Tomatoes and Zucchini and Fennel". The pairing (and the dish) were excellent.

This is classic white bordeaux: a very nicely balanced blend of the semillon fruit and the sauvignon providing just enough bite. It's pleasant and smooth from the nose through to the moderate finish, with a slightly rich mouthfeel. There's no "wow!" factor but it delivers exactly what you'd expect.

March 2, 2017 - Fieuzal Masterclass (Lavinia - Madrid): White sap on nose. A very soft 60% SB. Bitterness of the bergamot, also from the bark of the orange of Seville, that thing that onlyhave tried the tourists. I liked the feeling of cold tobacco to define the vegetable note but the supposed mellow touch will need at least five years to appear.
I love it on the mouth. It has a sharp but very elegant acidity. Fatty bodied, with memories of figs and modern salty pastry (cupcakes?).
Its greatness resides, right now, on the palate.
