July 6, 2015 - With some time to iron out the cobwebs after opening, this broadens and builds luscious layers of citrus, honey, and stone fruits. Great with blue cheeses and honey. Great value alternative to Sauternes.

September 17, 2014 - I don't think this had enough acid or needed more time. Good flavors and texture but any cloying turns me off. Maybe another 10 years would have proved its merits. But for now, it just didn't go well, even with a soft cheese.

July 24, 2014 - Honey, lemon and marmalade combine with a slightly burnt note, good acidity.

June 21, 2014 - Deep and satisfying, with profound notes of cointreau dominating classic honeyed sweet white. This is very interesting for the price.

June 1, 2014 - I don't really know how to describe this any other way than last night. Enjoyable, but different than a fruity Sauternes. Tropical and caramels with decent acid for 2003 and enjoyable to drink. cheap split and different. I don't know if I would buy on a regular basis. I like more interesting noses, with more acid and sugar. I usually enjoy one glass and that is it, unless it an ice wine. This was good for about 3 glasses and probably put my blood sugar through the roof.

May 31, 2014 - - Yellow gold color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish - Better than I expected. Loads of spicy botrytis and canned peaches. A touch of cinnamon and caramel. A little one dimensional for now but good.
